MissionsMission Cell Ministry (MCMs): Small groups engaging in local missions. These groups are organized by spiritual gifts, interests, and calling. We have a group who prepares and serves a meal on the second Tuesday each month through the Compassion Cafe ministry. Compassion Cafe consists of 20 Nashville-area churches partnering together to provide lunch to the hungry every weekday, 11am-1pm, with a devotion at Noon. Compassion Cafe will be held in the Bus Garage directly behind Nashville United Methodist Church. Mission Partners: We have formed financial/volunteer partnerships with Habitat for Humanity, My Sister's House, F.I.G.S. Benevolence (Social Services), Kairos Prison Ministry, and the American Bible Society. We also support the Pregnancy Care Center in Rocky Mount. National and Global Missions: Rock Creek financially partners with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. We also collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to support Southern Baptist missionaries. CBF Encourager Church: We are in the process of becoming an encourager church for LaCount and Anna Anderson, field personnel for CBF.
